SSC-Jen- Staff Selection Commission conducts an open competitive examination for recruitment of JE(Junior Engineer ) for Civil, Mechanical & Electrical engineering students.
Those Students who has Completed their Degree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.

4(a) Junior Engineer (Civil), MES (b) Junior Engineer (Electrical &Mechanical), MES (c)Junior Engineer(QS&C), MESDegree in Civil Engineering from a recognised UniversityOR I)Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised Institute or University or Board; and(II) Two years experience in Planning, Executionand Maintenance of Civil Engineering works.Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineeringfrom a recognised University; OR (I) Three years diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognised Institute or University or Board; and(II) Two years experience in Planning, Executionand Maintenance of Electrical or MechanicalEngineering works. (i) 3 years Diploma in Civil engineering from arecognised institute / University / Board orequivalent; OR (ii) Passed Intermediate examination in Buildingand Quantity Surveying Sub Divisional-II of theinstitute of Surveyors (India).

13Junior Engineer (Electrical) Dte of Quality Assurance NavalDiploma in Electrical Engineering from any recognised University/Institution; and Two years experience in respective fields i.e.- Either of the field quality assurance / quality control / production / manufacturing and testing of switch gears, cables, converters, light and light fittings, motors, generators, drives and control systems, airfield lighting equipment, Electronics / Radar / Radio / Telecommunication equipment electro hydraulic system, programmable logiccontroller based systems, printed circuit boards /instrumentation, software development and validation, network control system etc. including knowledge of various standard and their interpretation.

SSC JE Fees : –Rupees one hundred ONLY (Rs. 100/-)Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex Servicemen (eligible for reservation) are exempted from paying application fee as per extant Government Orders.
